Feeding Instructions

Adult cats will eat at casual and varying times, so simply offer dishes of food twice a day.  The average cat will eat a total of about one standard cup of food (8 oz.) a day, which may be offered as 1/2 cup in the morning and 1/2 cup in the evening, either dry or slightly moistened.  Remember to provide plenty of clean, fresh water.

Should your cat pass a day without eating, don't worry - it's nature's way of resting the cat's digestive system.  The cat's appetite will likely return in a day or two.  A continued lack of interest in food could indicate illness, and you may wish to consult your veterinarian.

When changing to Kasco Cat Food, begin by mixing it with the food you were feeding.  Over the course of a week, give your cat more Kasco and less of the other to make a smooth, full transition.  Kasco Cat Food is complete and balanced and therefore no supplementation is necessary.  For your pet's health, visit your veterinarian regularly.
